Angela has been quilting since childhood as part of her family tradition of making personalized quilts. After becoming a parent and unable to throw out favorite outgrown or worn out clothing she decided to recycle these garments into her quilts and started a new approach in her family quilting history. These selected pieces are stitched together in a \u201ccrazy quilt\u201d fashion to create one-of-a-kind heirlooms.<\/p>\n
The left center image is a quilt she made for her daughter using pieces of their favorite outfits from infancy to kindergarten. This is the first quilt Angela made with recycled favorite clothing.\u00a0The other photos show quilts Angela made for her teenage nieces using special applique techniques to personalize these special gifts.<\/p>\n
