Born Juan Rene Rodriguez in East Chicago, IN, he was part of the Gary, IN based band “Cruise Control” in high school. The band opened for Major R&B Acts like Kool & the Gang, The S. O.S . Band, and Zapp. In the late 1980s, his “Cruise Control” offshoot band, “Kulur Blynd,” relocated to Minneapolis in search of more music opportunities.<\/p>

<\/strong>He attended The Recording Workshop in Ohio in 1990 and Columbia College in Chicago in 1991 for Recording Engineering.<\/p>

Founded in 2005, initially formed as a company to house their growing music catalog, but currently, offers a range of artist services, including recording, music production, artist development, and branding. It relocated to Austin, TX, in 2010.<\/p>
