Corporate Killings

This case is a slow burn to justice, it opens on a bright sunny Saturday morning on the bay…just as everyone had boarded the corporate yacht of an aspiring local politician who happened to be rich, well known, Black and married to an even richer white debutant, all hell broke loose. A body,wrapped in a tarp, tethered to a makeshift anchor, floated up just off the port bow of Big Jim Gardeners 50 foot Stingray. Immediately our main character, U.S. Marshal Harry Bailey, dove into the water to secure the body while everyone on board waited in horror to find out who had meet such a gruesome death. As the case unfolds, the investigation will cross several law enforcement agencies jurisdictions, all the result of openmissing person cases that stretch over a 12 year span. Adding to the difficulty in solving these murders is the fact that the local investigating agency’s commanding officer not only had a contrary personal agenda to be reckonedwith, but a hidden unknown blood tie to the resolution of all of the cases. With no motive, little forensic evidence and a 12 year time span hampering the solving of this case,everyone wondered if Marshal Bailey was up for thechallenge including him, himself.In the end Marshal Bailey uncovered one of the most shocking and yet fundamental of motives in his investigative career; the murders of each of the well placed health industry executives. But not before he rebuffed the biggest stumbling block, in his own task force, would he uncover the true suspect behind these “Corporate Killings”.
