ABOUT THIS BOOKMATTHEW 7:7 KJVKeep Asking, Seeking, Knocking7“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. 9Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him!12Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. The (a) point of this verse is the inspiration for gathering the below information in to this one source. Here Jesus is making the point that as children of God we are entitled to “ASK” for those things we want, need and desire. Now God already knows not only our needs but our desires but as most good parents do, he prefers for you to ask him from time to time for these things. To assure him of at least two things; first that He is necessary and needed in our lives and secondly to show you how much He loves you by giving or providing that which we are not able to obtain ourselves.
