Dr. Fabian

Dr. William Fabian received his doctorate in Biological Psychology in 1982 from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As a MASUA traveling scholar he continued his post-doctoral training in Clinical Psychology through the Oklahoma State University in Oklahoma and the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia.

From there he began his career as a full time faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington D.C. There he founded and ran the Panic and Anxiety Disorder Program in addition to training Psychology Interns, Psychiatry Residents, and Social Work Personal.

After 11 years he moved in to private practice and in cooperation with the George Washington University Department of Psychology founded the GW Center for Mind/Body Integration.

He currently holds a Clinical Associate Professorship with the George Washington University and has a private practice in both the Nation’s capital and in Northern Pennsylvania. He is the author of many scholarly publications and is currently on the board of directors of the Robertson Research Institute in Saginaw Michigan. He is the author of the Behavioral Medicine Treatment Protocols for Anxiety for the non-profit RRI foundation which provides free educational and treatment recommendations for various medical and psychological disorders.
